Ultra Tag is a Trio Mobil wearable safety device that supports pedestrian detection in compatible tag-based systems. It makes the wearer detectable by equipped safety devices so that configured proximity conditions can trigger warnings or supported vehicle responses.
Its role is particularly relevant to forklift-pedestrian interactions where a participating wearable provides proximity information alongside, or independently of, visual pedestrian recognition. Device selection and correct use are part of maintaining coverage for the people included in the tag-based deployment.
Available wearable formats include Compact, Wrist, Plus, and Ultra. The range includes options with SOS and fall-detection functions and a stated battery life of up to 30 days. Available functions and runtime depend on the selected model. Compatible tags may also integrate with door-access systems where supported.
